The Sunday worship service is a witness to our faith within both the annual cycle of Christian celebrations and the cultural environment in which we live. Form is designed to enhance content and content is designed to point to God as both the author and consummator of our faith.   

The following is a sample of the typical Sunday worship format followed in the services held at West Park Church:

 Leader: Blessed are the poor in spirit

 People: For theirs is the kingdom of heaven(Matt.5:3).

 Leader: People of God, look about and see the faces of those we know and love:

 People: Neighbors and friends, sisters and brothers a community of kindred hearts.

 Leader: People of God, look about and see the faces of those we hardly know:

People: Strangers, sojourners, forgotten friends; neighbors we will come to know,

 Leader: People of God, look about and see all the images of God assembled here.

 People: In me, in you, in each of us, God's spirit shines for all to see.

 ALL: Dear God, we thank you for all that is good: for our creation and our humanity; for the stewardship you have given us of this planet earth; for the gifts of life and one another;  and for your love,   which is unbounded and eternal. O Thou, most holy and beloved, our  Companion, our Guide upon the way, our bright evening star, we repent the wrongs we have         done.  (Silence)

Leader: We have wounded your love.  

People: O God, heal us.

Leader: We stumble in the darkness.

People: Light of the world, transfigure us.                                                    Leader: We forget that we are your home.                                                       People: Spirit of God, dwell in us.
